A little about me...
I started out cooking 30 different meals in one day, and though the day was hard and the food well enjoyed over the long run, it was too draining. I dreaded starting another session even though I knew it was worth it. Over time my family expanded to five boys and home schooling. We eat our main meal in the middle of the day and I only start thinking about what to have at 1:00, wanting to eat by 2:00. I moved to bulk cooking. Making lots of one meal and putting it in the freezer. That worked as a slow way to build, but I was limited on the recipes I used and we soon got tired of them. I also did some recipe testing for a bulk cooking book. When I found Nanci and Tara’s book I really liked the idea of finding a partner. While trying to decide if I should become a consultant, I began asking if anyone was interested. I got quite a bit of interest and a friend who just finished a cooking day with me. I enjoy sharing with others what has made my life easier. Meal planning has always been difficult. Even when I try I don’t seem to get anywhere. Having a friend to work with helped me make choices, set down the time and get going. I’m excited about the number of ebooks available, especially lunches, since supper time is now my next challenge. One I know I’ll be able to surmount by planning and freezing ahead.
