The May Cook Of The Month is Laura Semmens.

The great tip she posted on our bulletin boards earned her many thanks from other 30 Day Gourmet cooks! Laura is a stay-at-home mother of four children who range in age from 1 to 15 years. She lives in an old farmhouse (constantly in need of repairs, of course) in eastern Pennsylvania. She found "30 Day Gourmet" when the manual appeared on her personalized Amazon.com recommendations. Laura has read other OAMC books, but none of them seemed appealing until she found this one. Laura, being quite the thrifty grocery shopper, does mini-sessions when particular meats go on sale. Laura cooks meals daily when her children's many activities allow, but she enjoys knowing that a great dinner can always be thawed.
