Molly A. from Suffolk, VA is our February Cook of the Month winner.  We selected Molly for our winner because of the high priority she placed on getting her freezer filled after a move. Here is what Molly told us about herself:

What a thrill!! Thanks - I'm honored to be selected as cook of the month!

A little about us - It's just me, my DH Wynn and our mini-schnauzer Hogan. I'm a high school guidance counselor - and that "It's 5 o'clock - what's for dinner tonight?" question used to haunt me.  With 30DG - I pop something in the oven, take the dog for a walk, read the mail - and dinner's ready - no more spazzing around trying to put something together - and usually ending up calling for pizza!  Started 30DG back in fall of 1999 - discovered the site and bought the manual right before a total hysterectomy for endometrial cancer. 

During recovery, my mother helped me fill the freezer the first time - took us three days, but we had about 30 meals ready for when I went back to work. Now, I usually do a "big cook" every couple of months and do "mini-cooks" on the weekends...triple batches of favorite recipes. That way the freezer stays full. I can't imagine any other 
way of cooking! Thank you both for helping me simplify my life!
