Heidi is a stay-at-home mom with two young children, Spencer and Gracie.   Heidi must bake most of her foods from scratch because of family food allergies, so cooking the 30 Day Gourmet way really helps her save time.  For an example she cites, "I have to bring a dairy-free, egg-free cupcake for my son to every birthday party or holiday celebration, so it's much easier pull one out of the freezer instead of making a big batch before each party."

    She enjoys the flavors of "real food" and really notices the difference in the flavors compared to pre-packaged food items.  She also enjoys the camaraderie of the folks who visit the 30 Day Gourmet website - "everyone is so friendly, supportive, and family-oriented."  In her spare time her hobbies are altering recipes to be "hypo-allergenic", crafting, and quilting.  We hope freezer cooking is allowing her a little more time for the things she loves!

"When running short on space during a big cooking day, set up your ironing board.  It gives extra space, and no trivets are needed for hot pots and pans!  It's about the only time our ironing board gets used!"
