Assembly Directions:
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, pizza sauce, garlic salt, onion salt and oregano. Add the pepperoni pieces and mozzarella cheese, stirring to mix well. Fill buns with meat mixture. Wrap each bun in aluminum foil.

Freezing Directions:
Put all of the wrapped buns in a rigid container or 2-gallon freezer bag. Seal, label and freeze.

Serving Directions:
Remove the number of wrapped buns you need from the freezer. Allow them to thaw, still wrapped in foil, for no more than an hour. (If they thaw for too long, the buns will get soggy.) Bake the wrapped buns at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Serve while hot.

Comments:
These pizza burgers make a great snack too. If you are used to eating pizza burgers open-faced, you can do that with this recipe too. Freeze the mixture in freezer bags, according to your family size and appetite. To serve, thaw the mixture, and spread it on both halves of the hamburger buns. Put the halves on a cookie sheet. Broil the pizza burgers until they’re hot and bubbly.
