Honey

1/2 C.

1-1/2 C.

2-1/2 C.

3 C.

Orange juice

1/4 C.

1/2 C.

3/4 C.

1 C.

1-1/4 C.

1-1/2 C.

Soy sauce

2 T.

1/4 C.

1/4 C. + 2 T.

1/2 C.

1/2 C. + 2 T.

3/4 C.

Good Seasons Oriental Sesame Dressing Mix

1 envelope

2 envelopes

3 envelopes

4 envelopes

5 envelopes

6 envelopes

Boneless, skinless, chicken breast; cut in strips

1-1/4 lbs.

2-1/2 lbs.

3-3/4 lbs.

5 lbs.

6-1/4 lbs.

7-1/2 lbs.

Assembly Directions:

Mix honey, juice, soy sauce and salad dressing mix in large bowl until well blended.

 

Freezing Directions:

Place the chicken strips in a freezer bag. Pour marinade over chicken in bag. Seal, label and freeze.

 

Serving Directions:

Thaw chicken and thread on skewers through each chicken strip. Broil 4" from heat, or grill over medium coals 8-10 minutes or until cooked through, turning frequently. You can also cook the chicken in a non-stick skillet on the stovetop.

 

Comments:

I had to go to a large grocery store chain to find the seasoning packet for this recipe. If you are not able to find it at your local grocery stores there is a posting on the message boards with a suggested homemade version of the dressing mix. Click here to read about it.

Nutritional analysis was done using 1/4 cup of actual marinade per recipe or 1 tablespoon per serving.

Per Serving: 216 Calories; 4g Fat (15.9% calories from fat); 32g Protein; 12g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 87mg Cholesterol; 423mg Sodium. 

Exchanges: 4-1/2 Lean Meat; 1/2 Other Carbohydrates.
