A little bit about me...
With 2 young boys (4 and 1), a military husband, and a full-time job, I’m always looking for things to make life easier. I discovered freezer cooking when I was 6 months pregnant with my youngest son and had my first cooking day a few weeks before he was born. It was so great to have those meals in the freezer when we came home from the hospital. I planned another session right before I went back to work – one less thing I had to worry about in those first few stressful weeks back at the office. I’ve had several sessions over the past year and love the flexibility I get with the freezer meals. I generally have big sessions and cook both beef and chicken meals. We don’t eat freezer meals every night, but knowing I have healthy meals ready for my family brings great peace of mind. I love the fact that by spending a few hours in the kitchen for a day, I don’t have to worry about fixing dinner every night – and we save money by not running for fast food at the last minute. I love sharing freezer cooking with my friends, and I now hope to help more families enjoy healthy meals with less stress.
