A story from a class participant
Sue attended one of my first Once A Month Cooking classes. She and her daughter have done 3 cooking sessions together. They have reduced their cost per meal by nearly $2.00 as they have improved their organization and buying in bulk on sale items. But here is the best part, Sue's daughter has 2 small children. Sue and her daughter are never able to have a conversation without many interruptions because of the children. Cooking day gives Sue and her daughter time to connect and have conversations without interruption, as the children are not there. WOW, what a gift - time to connect with a daughter.
My goal for every class is to give the gift of time, time for things like connecting with family and friends or perhaps time to volunteer in the community.
