Assembly Directions: Preheat oven or 375 degrees. Cream butter, shortening and sugar (1-1/2 C.). Beat in eggs adding one at a time. Add flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Beat until thoroughly combined. Chill dough for 1 hour. Shape dough into 1-inch balls or use a small cookie scoop. Combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl. Roll the dough balls in the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are golden.
Freezing Directions: Cool. Place cookies in a freezer container or freezer bag. Seal, label and freeze.
Serving Directions: Thaw and enjoy!
