Tips for Keeping Foods Fresh & Pretty


  1. Use good quality freezer bags and containers.

  2. Freeze fragile foods in rigid containers to prevent crushing.

  3. Cool all foods well before freezing.

  4. Remove all excess air from freezer packaging.

  5. Keep freezer temperature set at 0 degrees F. or colder.

  6. Don’t pre-cook more foods than you have to.  Many items can be pre-assembled, frozen and cooked after thawing.
