Fireman Dan's Chocolate Cream Pie Click here to go to a Printer Friendly Page
Assembly
Directions: Break
up Hershey bars.
Add to milk in microwave dish or glass
measuring cup. Microwave
to melt chocolate. With electric mixer, blend
chocolate and milk mixture.
Add cream cheese and blend well.
Fold in 1/2 of whipped topping.
Pour into pie shell and refrigerate till set.
Top with remaining whipped topping.
Garnish with bits of shaved chocolate.
(You’ll have to buy an extra bar for this. Too bad, huh?)
Freezing
and Cooking Directions: Cover
with the crust’s plastic lid and freeze pie.
To
serve: Thaw, serve and enjoy!

Comments: Dan
was featured as a Cook of the Month in our local
newspaper several years ago because of the great
cooking he did for his fellow firefighters.
I’ve been making this pie ever since and
it’s always wonderful! Jenna and I recently took two pies to Dan’s station and said “thanks” to some of Indiana’s finest.
