Fully cooked macaroni

Softened cream cheese

4 oz.

Shredded sharp cheddar cheese

2 C.

Crushed crackers or fresh bread crumbs

1/2 C.

1-1/2 C.

Salt and pepper to taste

Assembly Directions:
Stir white sauce, a little at a time, into the softened cream cheese, removing any lumps as you stir. Mix in the shredded cheese
and cooked macaroni. Salt and pepper to taste.

Freezing Directions:
Label, and freeze in bags or rigid containers. Place crumbs in a small bag or container. Attach to macaroni and cheese or put both inside a large freezer bag. Seal and freeze.

Serving Directions:
Thaw both bags or containers. Press macaroni mixture into greased or sprayed 1-1/2 to 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle crumbs over macaroni. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes until the edges are bubbly.

*8 to 9 ounces of dry macaroni will yield 4 cups of cooked macaroni.
